The Weight is Over

Good morning fight fans, we are pleased to say that the hardest fight of most fighters training camps is over – making the weight!

The fighters that are featuring in the title fights and international fights all came in under weight and all exactly the same as their opponents – coincidence or great training camps?

The weigh in was officiated my Irish ISKA representative Owen Doyle who read out the fighters names and weights when they jumped on the calibrated scales.

Shawn and Bertrand both weighed in at 64.0kg for their 64.5kg limit title fight, Aaron Robinson and Sukhy Saroya both hit the scales at 66.2kg for their 66.8kg title limit, Callum Thompson and Sean O’Neil both came in at 77.1kg for their 5 Nations title at 75.5kg and in the final title fight Tom Scutt challenges for the 69.5kg English title came in at 68.8kg, his opponent will be weighing in today.

In the International prestige fights both Derby’s Dan Casey and Spain’s Sergio Garcia came in at 62.6kg, Karl Johnson who is fighting Lincoln’s Polish fighter Piotr Bulzczynski came in at 74.8kg and Scott Taylor and Ireland’s Barry O’Toole his the scales at 66.9kg for their 67kg fight.

After the weigh in all the fighters were treated to great food by the shows sponsors at the Cloud Bar in the Bailgate area of Lincoln.

Good luck to all the fighters competing tonight, their is still some tickets left but over 100 where sold yesterday alone as fight fever really is taking over the city.

Call Shawn on 07900932690 to get your ticket.
