Shawn Burton to fight for IKF British Title

Lincoln Fight Factory owner Shawn ‘Boom Boom’ Burton has now signed contracts that see’s him make his long awaited return into the ring when on the 26 February 2012 he challenges Steven Cook in Kent for the vacant IKF British title at 64.5kg.

This is a great match up as both fighters like to come forward and trade heavy shots.  Cook is on a great run of form but Burton has mixed it at the very highest level fighting for World titles and against fighters from America, France, Italy, Latvia, Ireland, Wales, Scotland and Norway.

Both fighters have not hidden their dislike for each other and can’t wait to get int he ring and put it all on the line.  The trash-talking has already started and a press conference is scheduled for the 12 February 2012.
