Revenge is sweet for Aaron Robinson

Inform Aaron Robinson made it 5 wins on the spin this weekend as the Lincoln Fight Factory fighter defeated World Kickboxing
champion Simon Akufo in Grantham under boxing rules.

Akufo won the pairs previous encounter on his home show for the European title in June under controversial circumstances with many believing that Aaron had done more than enough to win the title, but this weekend there was only ever one winner as Aaron controlled the whole of the 5 round contest.

Aaron used slicking boxing skills and nice hooks to the body when he was in close, with Simon looking to land the heavy shots, but Aaron was too slick and managed to evade pretty much everything that Akufo threw.

After 5 rounds of boxing Aaron was awarded a 49-47 decision, but the Akufo camp seemed a little disgruntled about that, we personally thought it should have been a 50-45 to Aaron, but thats boxing and we are more than happy to take the win.

Aaron next fights for the British title in Brighton on 24 May under kickboxing rules.

Well done Aaron from everyone at the Lincoln Fight Factory.
