We are now just over 2 weeks away until the Lincoln Fight Factory fighters are back in the ring where they take some extremely tough opposition from Manchester and West Brom at the George Street based gym.
We have a couple of extremely interesting rematches on the show where Jordan McLoughin gets back in the ring after almost a year out, where he faces tough, inform journeyman Will Cairns from Manchester. Jordan stopped Will in 3 rounds 2 years ago, but Will has been on a great run of late, joining the professional ranks in the process and promises to get revenge on the 30th.
The popular Grzes Walek hopes to put his December defeat in Malta behind him when he rematches the powerful Bruce Ellis from West Brom in West Midlands. Bruce took a close victory in November and Grzes has been hounding coach Shawn Burton to get the rematch on. Ellis’ coach Maca Richards was more then happy to obilige. This could be one of the fights of the night.
Lincoln’s Jason Barnes looks to keep hold of his unbeaten record and avenge club mates Adam Lewis’ defeat against Sunny Sigh, West Brom. Sigh is a tall heavyweight with a great jab and Jason is a come forward, heavy handed fighter who loves to trade. This one will be explosive.
Shep Waby will be hoping to get back to winning ways after suffering his first taste of defeat in December when he squares up against Manchester’s Cameron Rice. Since his defeat Waby has really up his training and vows to turn on the style on the 30th.
Phil Robbins is another fighter hoping to have his hand raised against for the first time in 3 fighters when he locks horns with another fighter from Manchester – Hayden Sherrif. Phil has left no stone unturned in camp and is looking fitter and stronger than ever. He is out to make a statement on the 3oth and we are very confident he will deliver.
Talent Luke Kennedy is another fighter looking to put defeat in Malta behind him when he jumps in the ring for his 53kg fight against Manchester’s Denzil Pinnock. Luke has the potential to be a top class boxer with great movement and serious power. Still on 17 years old he could be a name to look out for in the future.
Last year’s Lincoln Fight Factory Fight of the Year Michael Buckthorpe is back in action to. He takes on Manchester’s experienced Paul Smith. A great clash of styles here, this has all the makings of a real war.
Lee Hellawell and Danny Goulding are both on the card also as they will be fighting Aarif Hacking and Liam Cawley respectively.
Craig Rainey is the last fighter on the card as he will be looking to put his title defeat in New York, USA behind him when he takes on the stylish Dennis Mangombe from Manchester.
Tickets for the show are available from the gym or any fighter on the card. They are priced at £20 for adults and £15 for under 16’s or £25 on the door.
Doors open at 6:00pm and the first fight is 7:00pm.
