Over the last 5 years we have witnessed some world class fighters at the Lincoln Fight Factory with fighters coming over from Poland, France, Norway, Italy, Ireland to name a few countries, but nothing comes close to this event and we are delighted to bring it right to your doorstep at the George Street based gym.

There are several eye-catching things on the Shawn Burton and Gavin Chapman joint promotion, but the main draw is the 75-85kg 8-man tournament which see’s 2 ex pros and 4 countries fighting out for the winner takes all £1000 cash prize.

The stand out fighter to enter this event has to be hometown favorite, ex professional Steven Swinburn, fighting out of the Lincoln Fight Factory.  Steven made a great start to what looked to be a very promising professional career before losing out in a British Masters title fight and suffering from several major injuries.  No stranger to 8-man events, winning a kickboxing one several years ago in Kent, Steven knows how to pace himself for this type of fight. He is back in the gym now and looking sharper than ever, so what out to see how Steven progress’s in the event.

An outside bet would be out of Aidan Whittle (7-1-1) from Burnley who is a very stylish, come forward fighter, Norway’s Adam Mekdad with is silky skills, Newcastle’s Dan Lennon (13-3-2) or Poland’s unkown powerhouse Rafel Krawczyk who will all fancies their chances with the format of the event.

Other fighters in the event are Matt Saveage (13-3) from Fox Gym, Featherstone, former pro Bart Wrozeck (Czech Republic), the former kickboxing star Michael Worswick (24-6) from Blackburn and Tommy Marcon (10-4) Big Johns Gym, Featherstone.

The 4-man heavyweight tournament is just as exciting, but for different reasons.  4 big lads throwing bombs for a prize fund of £500.  All the lads are novice standard and promise to give in all in their quest for glory.
