The next night of White Collar Boxing at the Lincoln Fight Factory will take place on 16 July and we want you to lace up your gloves and step through the ropes to raise money for charity – this time our chose charity is the Nomad Trust, a charity that provides welfare services in the City of Lincoln for those who are homeless.
We have first timers and experienced fighters all doing their bit in the ring for a great cause and we still need fighters (male and female) – so do you have what it takes to step into the ring and get punched in the face? If you do call Shawn Burton on 07900932690 or Gavin Chapman on 07738976290.
Over the last few years the Lincoln Fight Factory has raised over £100,000 for some great charities including Adis Mission, Lincs to Nepal, Cancer Research, Macmillan Cancer Foundation, Ethan Maull’s ‘Up Yours to Cancer’ Foundation, The Fire Fighters Charity, the Lincoln City FC Youth Academy and the Injured Jockies Fund, but this time we are promoting a show in conjunction with the Nomad Trust and unlike many other ‘charity shows’ 100% of the profits will be donated to the Nomad Trust.
Have you got what it takes?
All fights will be over 3×2 minute rounds and matched on weight and experience. We already have about 8 matches made but we need about another 12 fighters to come forward and get involved.
You need dedication, heart, determination and be able to sell about 20 tickets each to family and friends so we can fill the gym out and make a sizable donation.
Do you want to fight a friend?
You can match the fights yourself if you want to fight a friend, but the final say will be from the coaching staff at the gym so we have even and entertaining fights for the crowd to see.
How I you get involved?
Just come to the Lincoln Fight Factory on George Street tomorrow at 6:30pm to express your interest and give one of the classes a go. We have all the equipment you need to start with – you just need to bring a gum shield, towel and willingness to learn.
Fighters already on the show include Caroline Glanville, Jaime Elliot, Hayley Fleming, Gavin Parr, Shep Waby, Phil Robbins, Josh Johnson, Jack Raithby, Ben Lewis, Jason Glanville, KC Kemp, Tom Martin, Aaron Starbuck, Karolis Macisevskis and a whole team from Trevor Ambrose’ gym in Norway.
Tickets for the show are priced at £20 each or a VIP package for £100 includes 2 VIP tickets, food, private bar, sponsorship of a fight and opportunties for photos the fighters on the show.
