Join Lincoln Fight Factory’s Final Beginners Boxing Course of 2025

Start Date: Wednesday 22 October 2025 | End Date: Friday 19 December 2025

As the year comes to a close, there’s no better time to challenge yourself, improve your health and build new skills. Lincoln Fight Factory’s final Beginners Boxing Course of 2025 has been designed to help you stay active during the colder months, learn proper boxing technique and finish the year with renewed energy and purpose.

This 10-week programme offers a structured route for complete beginners while also welcoming those who may have trained before and want to refresh their foundations. With expert instruction and a supportive training atmosphere, you can expect clear progress whether your goal is better fitness, personal growth or discovering a new sport.

Why a Winter Fitness Regime Matters

Winter can make it easy to slow down, skip exercise and lose momentum. Shorter days and colder weather often lead to reduced activity and lower motivation, yet this is exactly when maintaining fitness is most valuable. A consistent winter training plan helps you:

  • Boost overall health — regular exercise strengthens your heart and lungs while supporting your immune system at a time when colds and flu are more common

  • Improve mood and energy — physical activity helps combat seasonal fatigue and lifts mental focus

  • Stay on track — finishing the year with a set routine makes returning to fitness goals in the new year much easier

  • Build resilience — sticking to a plan when conditions are less inviting improves discipline and mental strength

This boxing course provides that structure. Training twice a week keeps you active through autumn and early winter, helping you maintain momentum while learning a practical and enjoyable skill.

What to Expect

The course has been created with complete novices in mind, though it’s equally suitable for anyone returning after time away. Over the 10 weeks, you’ll train every Wednesday and Friday evening in a safe and encouraging setting.

It’s divided into two parts: the Technical Course and the Sparring Course. You may choose either individually or combine both for the fullest experience.

The Technical Course

Wednesdays and Fridays | 7:15 PM – 8:00 PM

These sessions cover the essential building blocks of boxing in a clear and accessible way. Each week adds to your skills without overwhelming you, ensuring steady development. You will work on:

  • Footwork and movement — learning balance and controlled mobility in the ring

  • Punching techniques — how to throw jabs, crosses, hooks and uppercuts correctly and safely

  • Defence — blocking, slipping and countering effectively

  • Bag and pad work — improving timing, rhythm and striking accuracy

  • Ring awareness — understanding distance and positioning

Coaches will guide you through each drill with attention to individual progress. Mistakes are corrected early, so you develop good habits from the start.

The Sparring Course

Wednesdays and Fridays | 8:00 PM – 8:45 PM

When you’re ready to apply your skills, the sparring sessions provide controlled, supervised practice. You will never be rushed into full sparring. Instead, sessions progress gradually to ensure safety and confidence. You will work on:

  • Partner drills that replicate real exchanges

  • Reading movement and controlling range

  • Introduction to light contact sparring with protective equipment

  • Tactical thinking and calm decision-making under pressure

This section helps you feel comfortable in the ring and deepens your understanding of boxing beyond the pads and bags.

Flexible Participation

You may enrol on just the technical course if you want to focus purely on skill and fitness, or add the sparring course to experience the practical side of boxing. Many participants choose both, finding the combined approach the most rewarding and complete.
