Khalifa vs Deane on afternoon show at The Takeover

As most will now be aware, the biggest show ever to be held in Lincoln will now be split over 2 shows with a standard ticket event in the afternoon starting at 2pm and a sold out VIP event in the evening, so over the next few days to add to the build up for the event we will be giving more details on the fights on both cards at Deans Sports and Leisure Centre on 24 March 2018.

The final fight that we will be covering on the afternoon show of The Takeover is the  internation super fight between Ireland’s ISKA Irish champion Eamon Deane and ISKA Egyptian K1 Champion Mahmood Saied Khalifa.  The fact that this fight is on the undercard just shows of strong the VIP card really is.

This  is certainly a fight that will get the fans off their seats as they battle it out over 3×3 minute rounds under Pro K1 rules at 75kg.

Deane was due to fight Ash Griffith on the card but a withdrawal left Deane with at an opponent.  Once again the Feud Promotions team could have done the easy thing and just called the bout off, be hearing lots of good things about Eamon and wanting to work with him again in the future as the brand grows, they decided to reach out to all of their contacts to find a suitable opponent so to add this international bout is very exciting.

Eamon has a very exciting style, so expect to see jumping knees to the head, spinning hook licks and devastating knock out power in his hands.  Eamon’s current record is 10 wins and 2 losses and he is the current professional Irish champion.

Mahmood Saied Khalifa was recommend to us by Mick Crossland after he has sparred with Karl Johnson at the Combat Academy.  We really don’t know too much about Mahmood, but reports are good and he comes to the ring with a good record, so on paper this fight looks to be another gem to have on the show.

This fight looks like it has everything that makes K1 one of the most exciting fighting formats on the planet – speed, power and a huge variety of kicks.  The is another fight that we are sure the fans attending the afternoon show will talk about for months after the event.

Tickets for the under card event are still on sale and priced at £30 for adults and £20 for under 16’s so please call the ticket hotline on 07900 93269 to book yours or for special offers on ticket/photo packages please follow this link.
