Medal success for Fight Factory trio at ICO World Championships

It was a great weekend for the Lincoln Fight Factory team that took part in the ICO World Championships in Birmingham this weekend, where 2 new World Champions were crowned in the gym.

It was a great honor to have 3 of our junior fighters selected to represent England at the world championships and after months and months of hard work it all came into place on Saturday now when Keegan Roberts, Kraig Green and Lukas Nanartavicius stepped through the ropes against international opposition.

As a club we are very proud of these young lads for all of their hardwork and dedication to K1 kickboxing and are extremely proud to see them bring 6 medals home between them, including 2 world championships.

Lukas took the gold medal in the -33kg K1 tournament, Keegan Roberts took 3 silver medals in full contact kickboxing and K1 events, picking up a nasty knee injury in the process and Kraig Green battled through a neck injury sustained in his first fight to claim silver and gold medals in separate K1 tournaments.

The ICO World Championships saw teams travelling from as far as Brazil and New Zealand to take on the worlds best fighters in the search of winning gold medals.

Congratulations lads, next stop Greece for the 2018 World Championships where we hope to have more of the team in action.
