Kickboxing Classics – Viva La Revolution just 3 weeks away

We are now just 3 weeks away from our next promotion at the Lincoln Fight Factory when a mix of boxing, full contact, K1 rules and low kick kickboxing all feature on the same show – 26 November could quiet possibly be our best show yet.

The show titled Viva La Revolution is simply that, a revolution in Lincoln showcasing the best kickboxing fights that we are able to offer with former World Champion Trevor ‘TNT’ Tacy headlining the show in a low kick kickboxing bout over 5 rounds against Coventry’s David Dawson in what looks set to be a classic.

Tacy is quiet possibly one of the best fighters that England has produced, but a lay of over 15 years has made him one of the gyms top attractions and a fighter that everybody is aspiring to be like. The buzz around his return is huge and after a first round stoppage on his return to the ring in March has a lot of people asking how far he could go again.

At the Viva La Revolution show he meets Dawson an experienced and very dangerous opponent who has a host of titles in boxing, MMA and kickboxing so this should turn out to a great main event for the show.

Another fan favorite at the gym is Tarau Veronel Ömer, the former 5 time European Amateur boxing champion is looking to make it 3 wins from 3 under the gym (348 wins from 353 fights in total), when he meets the professional boxer Will Cairns from Manchester over 4 rounds. This fight could top any show, with 2 quality, experienced fighters willing to put it all on the line to take victory.

Omer put on a sensational performance in Leeds last Saturday to win by 2nd round ko and will be hoping to make it 4 wins from 4 for the gym on the 26th,

Kickboxing Classics regular Taylor Sellars will also feature on the show where he gets his first crack at title glory. Taylor has had some impressive wins on recent shows and never fails to impress the crowd with his flashy style but he will need to be at the very top of his game to land the ISKA British title. Facing Taylor will be current Midland Champion Jack Wiles from the formidable Adrenaline Kickboxing gym in Burntwood. This has the makings of a real war and a fight the crowd will not want to miss.

We also have a few fighters making their comebacks on the show when Matt Kennedy and Piotr Bulczynski will all be returning to the ring after over a year out each when they compete under Full Contact Kickboxing rules.

Matt fights Neil Anderson from Twin Tigers in Scunthorpe and Piotr square up against the very talented Christian Harrison from Panthers Gym in Derbyshire.

A fight that promoter Shawn Burton is really looking forward to seeing is a K1 rules bout between to very experienced, tough fighters in Gavin Buckland of Coventry and Bullwell’s Danny Capness. Both this lads will be looking to use the victory to push them right into title contention with former Fight Factory favorite Karolis Maciševskis a possible opponent for the winner if timings in Lithuania work for the team.

A battle between 2 unbeaten Lincoln heavyweight sluggers see’s Lincoln Fight Factory’s Gavin Chapman fight Shakespeare Boxing Clubs Ben Theaker in a fight that they both wanted for local bragging rights.

Other fighters on the show are Lee Hellawell, Kyle Walker, Shep Waby, Keegan Roberts, Josh Jackson, Doru Zeala, Ben Jackson, Phil Robbins and Craig Rainey.

Tickets for the show are priced at £20 for adults (£25 on the door) and £15 for under 16’s (£20 on the door).
