Fight Factory boys ready for Argy Bargy

Lincoln Fight Factory owners Shawn Burton and Aaron Robinson have been given a once in a lifetime opportunity to travel to La Rioja in Argentina to fight for the Organizacion Mundial de Deportes de Combate (O.M.D.C) Professional World Titles on 13 April 2013.

Once again world famous Lincoln gym take on the best fighters in the world in the search for world title glory as Shawn takes on Ivan ‘El Terrible’ Alvarez (85 fights, 78 wins) with a host of titles to his name including x3 Argentinian Champion, x2 South American Champion and the WFK World champion and wins over fighters such as Eloy Rebollo (Spain), Dosantos Marcelino (Brazil), Mario Scotti (Italy), Juan Jose Pereyra (Mexico), Rene Vergara (Chile) and Lightning Lopez (Argentina).  The fight is set at 63.5kg and over 12×2 minute rounds.

Aaron faces the inform Argentinian  sensation Enzo ‘El Martillo’ Zalazar (17 wins, 3 losses).  Again this fight will be over 12×2 minute rounds at 69kg.

Facing opposition from across the globe is nothing new to Shawn as he has travelled the world and fought fighters from America, Latvia, Italy, Norway and France to name a few, but this will be Aaron’s first fight out of the UK and it’s an opportunity he does not intend to let slip away.

Training will be intense, they will be put through their paces by Adam Butler, Oz and Lee Swaby as well as being pushed by the rest of the Lincoln KBA family and sparring around the country to be in the best shape possible.

The team will fly out to Argentina on the 7th of April, with a stop over in Holland, to acclimatise to the weather (which will be around 36°C) and get use to the time difference.  During the week prior to the fight they will be followed by a film crew training in various locations in and around the city on the Chilean boarder.

If anybody wishes to make the journey with the team ask at the gym for flight and hotel details as this really is a once in a lifetime opportunity for anybody in the gym.
