Etoria vs Sarissky

Etoria vs Sarissky in amateur K1 bout on VIP show at The Takeover

The sold out VIP evening show at The Takeover at Deans Sports and Leisure Centre at Lincoln College has some of the biggest names in the UK K1 scene on the card, so now is the time for us to talk about those fights to wet the appetites of those who were lucky enough to secure a ticket for the event.

Not only will guests have the opportunity to have a meet and greet with the legendary boxer Frank Bruno and see UK rapper Tinchy Stryder performing a set, they will also get to witness some of the UK’s very best K1 fighters in action and we have managed to secure a a last minute change of opponent to keep the poster boy of the Lincoln Fight Factory Beginners Kickboxing course on the show.

Lewis Etoria only joined the gym in January 2017 as a way to get fit and take up a new hobby that he has always fancied giving ago and after he had completed his first 10 week course it was safe to say he was hooked and despite his age, weight and looks, he had a lot of potential to make the transition into the regular classes.

But this wasn’t enough for Lewis and he soon started mixing in with the sparring classes and has pretty much been an ever present at every class, sparring day and one of the first names we send over to coaches when they are looking to match fighters.

Since joining the gym, Lewis has picked up a 2 win fight record in K1 rules kickboxing and looks to be getting better and better each session.  We were due to step him up in class, where he was due to face Edgar Tomashevic from the renowned Mushashi Gym in Peterborough, but last week the Feud Promotions team received a call that due to personal reasons Edgar was forced to withdraw.

Thankfully, Musashi head coach Alex Bolshunov offered Edgar’s team mate Viktor Sarissky as a replacement.  This brings a whole new opposition to the team at Lincoln Fight Factory had been working on, as Viktor is a lot smaller than Edgar and has a real come forward and fight style, but it’s a change that they are confident Lewis has the ability to work with.

This is a great bout matched at 64kg and the winner of this novice bout will be one step closer at earning a title shot towards the end of the year.

As stated before to VIP show is now sold out but don’t worry, tickets are still available for our under card and can be purchased from the Lincoln Fight Factory or by clicking this link
