4 Man Tournament at Feud Promotions – The Takeover

As most will now be aware, the biggest show ever to be held in Lincoln will now be split over 2 shows with a standard ticket event in the afternoon starting at 2pm and a sold out VIP event in the evening, so over the next few days to add to the build up for the event we will be giving more details on the fights on both cards at Deans Sports and Leisure Centre on 24 March 2018.

Headlining the under card will be a fantastic -66kg 4 man K1 tournament with the winner walking away with a £1,000 cash prize that has some serious talent in the event.

First to sign up for the 4 man event was Sunderland’s Ryan Foster who fans may remember he was a beaten finalist in our last 4 man tournament.  Ryan is the IKF English champion and will be looking to take the cash prize back to the Armageddon Spartan gym.  Ryan has previous experience in 4 man events, winning one and runner up at our last event so on paper will be a strong favorite here.

A dark horse for the event could be Gainsborough’s Dan Gibbon, an established MMA fighter and head coach of the Gorilla Fight Team.  Dan has great stand up skills and will course anybody in the tournament serious problems.  Dan has been training with Lincoln Fight Factory world champion coach Brad Stanton and spent two weeks out in Thailand training for the event.  He will be bringing a large crowd down from North Lincolnshire and has every intention of leaving with the £1000 cash prize.  Dan could has the power and skill to cause anyone he meets problems and could be worth a side bet on here.

The third entrant is the well travelled and much respected Pabz Benn from KO Gym in London.  Pabz has fought on one of our previous shows where he fought of the ISKA World Full Contact title, but a cut to his opponent led to a no contest.  Pabz is very flash and will be confident of taking the money back down south.  Pabz is the most experienced in the tournament, but little is know about him north of London, fight fans could be in for a massive shock if they think Pabz is coming to make up the numbers, he has mixed it with some of the best in the south.  Expect spinning kicks, pumping knees and stylish boxing from the London man.

The final man in the tournament is Ireland’s David Wogan Jr.  We know very little about David, but he comes highly recommend from our contacts in Ireland and certainly wont be coming for a holiday, he will be coming for the prize.  David states he is very sharp and has explosive power and from the footage we have been able to see, David certainly isn’t exaggerating. You may not know the Dublin’s man name now, but you certainly will on 24 March.

This really is an event that is so hard to pick a winner and fans that attend the afternoon show are in for a real treat here.  However the draw turns out, each fight really is 50/50 and as a team we can’t wait to sit ringside and enjoy the event.

Good luck to all over the lads in the tournament and thanks for being so easy to work with in what could have been very difficult times.

Tickets for the under card event are still on sale and priced at £30 for adults and £20 for under 16’s so please call the ticket hotline on 07900 93269 to book yours.
