Smokie ready for EFK Midland Title fight this Sunday
Lincoln KBA’s Poitr ‘Smokie’ Bulczynski says he is ready for the ‘biggest night of his life’ this Sunday when he challenges Khaleel Afzal from Alan Shakespear’s SaXon’s Gym in Birmingham.
To show how serious he is about this opportunity, he is even missing his nephew’s Christening to enable his title dreams to come true. Smokie, who is unbeaten in his last 4 fights, steps up to 5 round level for the first time but insists fitness will not be an issue once the bell rings.
“I am ready for war, I will beat hit and I will surprise many people,” said Smokie, who has already beaten two of Afzal’s stablemates to earn the right to have a shot at the 75kg EFK title.
“Piotr will be the underdog here,” claimed coach Shawn Burton. “He has already beaten two of Alan’s promising lads, giving them both counts during the contests. Alan is a good coach and a good promoter, he would not be bringing us over if he did not thing Khaleel could put a halt to Piotr’s one way destruction of the SaXon fight team, but we are ready. Piotr is fit, strong and ready for business.”
Anybody wanting tickets for the weekend should come to the gym and see Shawn.
