Chris Deakin to fight for WKMA European title

The Lincoln KBA fight team are back on the road and on the hunt for title glory on the 21 December 2013 when Chris Deakin fights former World Title challenger Sean Mallet from Wirral Martial Arts for the WKMA European title at 67kg.

The fight will be over 7×2 minute rounds at the Charmandean Centre in Worthing and will be a great end to a fantastic year for the gym so any support will be much appreciated.

Chris has been training extremely hard for this fight and with still 3 weeks to go, training will get even more intense.  He has sparring planned with Shawn Burton, Tom Scutt, Jordan McCloughin and Aaron Robinson in the coming weeks and is always looking for more sparring partners.

We do not know a great deal about Sean, apart from videos on Youtube.  We know he has height and reach advantage over Chris and both have similar experience, but for the first time in a long time, Chris is the younger fighter at 38 years old (yes he is really only 38!!)

Both Chris and Sean are very experienced and have fought some of the biggest names in the sport over the last decade, both have won titles at British level, but a European title can elevate either fighter to the next level.
