Beginners kickboxing - week 1

First Beginners Kickboxing Course of 2018 underway

A new group of 18 wannabee kickboxers have joined the ranks and signed up for the first Beginners Kickboxing course of 2018 and even though they are just 1 session in, are making signs progress as they start their own journeys in their new sport.

It looks like is is going to be another busy Beginners Kickboxing Course at the Lincoln Fight Factory and this is undoubtedly due to the fantastic results our kickboxers have enjoyed in 2017 and it is such an honor to see that this is getting noticed.

During the first session students worked on their basic punching and kicking techniques and on Thursday they will put punches and kicks together in 4 strike combinations on the pads.

In the first session coach Shawn Burton was very impressed with how his new students  embraced the training and asked questions during the lessons and some have even asked for homework so that they can carry on with their personal progress, several members have even booked a 5 week course of 1-2-1 training with Shawn to give them that extra edge over the class.

With 19 sessions to go, plus the optional sparring on a Sunday morning, we will be looking to give the students a taste of what fitness levels are needed to become a successful kickboxer in the ring, footwork drills, defensive work and some more intense pad work drills with their partners in order to give them an idea of what they can expect if they decide to continue with their newfound hobby in throughout 2018.

We still have several places left if kickboxing is something you want to try out and at just £50 for the whole course, you will not get better value or tuition anywhere else.

Once again thank you for choosing the Lincoln Fight Factory to start your kickboxing journeys and congratulations on the progress you have made in the first session, you really should be proud!
