Brand new defibrillator donated to the Lincoln Fight Factory

In an amazing act of kindness a brand new defibrillator has been donated to the gym to keep all of our members and visitors as safe as possible in the event of an emergency.

This generous donated was made be Ian, who sadly lost his father, when have a defibrillator on site could have saved his life.

Ian, known by his friends as ‘Bully’ made a promise to improve his health and ran a 10k run at Rutland Waters to raise money to buy 5 defibrillators to help business’ keep their visitors safe if one was ever needed.

Ian got in touch with the Lincoln Fight Factory earlier this week and explained that he had 5 defibrillators that he wanted to donated to different locations around Lincoln and upon hearing great things about the gym, he thought it would be the perfect home for one.

Shawn is currently fully trained in how to use defibrillators on adults and children and we will be having training for all of the coaches at the gym from a professional to make sure that all of the team are full up to date in how to use one.

Once again, thank you Ian for this amazing donation, hopefully we never need to use it, but you have put all of our minds at ease, knowing that if we need it, thanks to you, we have it!
